A heartwarming, feminine site

About a year ago, I came across the wonderful place, the Young Ladies Christian Fellowship. I've been haunting it often recently. Gretchen, one of it's founders, was just married, and while I'm happy and almost jealous of her, it's also rather melancholy. She was such a strong encouragement as another single young lady, and now she's abandoned our ranks! The "Old Maid" section has ominously disappeared. But the site is still lovely. It has some wonderful quotes, such as a page full on my favorite beverage besides tea:

A morning without coffee is like sleep.
-Author Unknown

This one is quite poetic:

Coffee makes us severe, and grave, and philosophical.
-Jonathan Swift

One more. This is too fun.

This coffee falls into your stomach, and straightway there is a general commotion. Ideas begin to move like the battalions of the Grand Army of the battlefield, and the battle takes place. Things remembered arrive at full gallop, ensuing to the wind. The light cavalry of comparisons deliver a magnificent deploying charge, the artillery of logic hurry up with their train and ammunition, the shafts of with start up like sharpshooters. Similes arise, the paper is covered with ink; for the struggle commences and is concluded with torrents of black water, just as a battle with powder.
-Honore de Balzac, "The Pleasures and Pains of Coffee"

Is that not fabulous?
