Why write a novel in a month?

"The reasons are endless! To actively participate in one of our era's most enchanting art forms! To write without having to obsess over quality. To be able to make obscure references to passages from our novels at parties. To be able to mock real novelists who dawdle on and on, taking far longer than 30 days to produce their work."

Come along with me on the adventure of NaNoWriMo! It's a dangerous business, taking up the challenge. You start writing, and if you don't keep your sanity (which in some cases is overrated), you never know where you'll be swept off to.

  2. Miss Jen, you could do it with me, you know. I'll bet your novel could be filled with the most mouthwatering descriptions of food ever, and the most intriguing sewing projects ever imagined! ;-)

Peanut, I think you might be right in your sanity comment. ;-)

Oh, it would be wonderful if you decide to do NaNoWriMo! I'm definitely going to do it again this year. And I would love to share about my experiences! In fact... I just wrote so much in reply that I think I shall make it a separate post! :-)
